The Paradise gets ₹500 show, ₹95 premium
Telangana has permitted enhanced ticket rates for Nani’s The Paradise, with the approval also carrying public-service messaging requirements. The welfare contribution figure remains unclear because the underlying order is unavailable.

Telangana has permitted one special show of Nani-starrer The Paradise at ₹500, including GST, on September 23, a day before its reported release. Enhanced rates will apply from September 24 to October 3, with theatres limited to five shows a day, according to multiple reports.
Single-screen theatres may add ₹48 per ticket from September 24 to 27 and ₹23 from September 28 to October 3. Multiplexes and special theatres may add ₹95 and ₹45 respectively over the same periods. The film is directed by Srikanth Odela.
The permission reportedly requires theatres to display public-service material on narcotics and cybercrime. Reports also mention a contribution to a film-workers’ welfare account, but the amount cannot responsibly be published: one report says ₹1,00,000 while writing “one crore”, and others report ₹1 crore. The original Home Department order was not available for inspection. Even ticket arithmetic has been given a plot twist.
