The survey says KCR. Which survey?
Harish Rao says recent polls want KCR back, but offers no pollster, numbers or paperwork. Telangana has been handed another political prophecy without the footnotes.

BRS leader T Harish Rao says recent surveys show Telangana wants K Chandrashekar Rao back as chief minister. He has not named the surveys, pollsters, sample sizes, field dates or methodology. The paperwork, like the Congress government’s supposed certainty about its mandate, remains elsewhere.
Harish Rao made the claim at a BRS joining event in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district on September 21, saying Congress leaders moving to the BRS showed the party would return to power. That is a political inference, not a measurement of the electorate.
Reports have separately referred to surveys by Chanakya Strategies and C-PAC that point to BRS gains, including a projection of 84 seats. But neither survey’s underlying documents were available in the research, and Harish Rao did not identify either as the source of his claim. A 2023 CSDS-Lokniti survey recorded KCR narrowly ahead of Revanth Reddy as preferred chief minister, while the 2024 Lok Sabha result gave Congress and BJP eight Telangana seats each and the BRS none. Both are historical evidence, not a September 2026 forecast.
Congress chief A Revanth Reddy has also cited an unpublished survey claiming the BRS is losing ground. Apparently the state’s parties have discovered polling’s most convenient feature: nobody has to show the poll.
