The September Telugu release calendar remains unsettled.

Telugu cinema’s September release calendar has managed the one thing calendars are usually designed to prevent: clarity is missing.

Maremma is listed for September 10, 2026, while Mahendragiri Varahi is listed for September 11, according to a current release listing. Another Telugu calendar places EPIC – First Semester on September 11, but the same film is listed as releasing on September 3 by the current listing. The dates, in other words, are already doing their own screenplay.

Sahaa – Life of Sanju is not confirmed for a September 10–11 theatrical release in India. Available listings show screenings in Michigan from September 10 to 16, while other promotional material points to September 4 or 5.

The available material does not establish a 15-film Indian release rush, screen shortages or any film’s commercial performance. Hyderabad and Telangana show counts, screen allocations and occupancy data have not been published in the research reviewed. For now, two Telugu films have firm-looking dates, one has conflicting listings and one is still waiting for its India release date to stop moving.
