Zombies back, hype to Nxt Lvl
People Media Factory marks Teja Sajja’s birthday with a sequel announcement, seven-language ambitions and a 2027 date circled in pencil.
People Media Factory announces a sequel to Zombie Reddy for 2027.
People Media Factory has announced a sequel to Zombie Reddy — styled variously as “Zombie Reddy2 NXT LVL”, “Zombie Reddy 2 – NxtLvl” and “Zombie Reddy2 NXT LVL – Dead Or Alive” — timed to Teja Sajja’s birthday on 23 August 2026. The producers say it lands in 2027, and that they are taking it beyond Telugu to Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali and Japanese. According to the announcement reports, Suparn S. Varma directs, with original creator Prasanth Varma credited as creator and writer; Teja Sajja returns, joined by Upendra and Shanaya Kapoor.
The makers’ pitch is unmissable: “Welcoming you all back to the ZOMBIE-VERSE. This time, it’s BIGGER, BADDER & BLOODIER,” as reproduced from the caption; “the scale is massive” and “from India to Japan,” the producer adds — all their words, and all marketing until a date, screens and a cut exist. A title-glimpse reportedly opens with “no AI used,” drops a zombie off a flyover, swings through Charminar, and ends on “This time, next level.” Those are reported descriptions of the official video; the clip itself was not directly reviewed here.
Credits listed include screenplay by Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal, Prasanth Varma and Suparn S. Varma, dialogues by Subbu K, music by Gowra Hari, cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam, editing by Vijay Velukutty and production design by Banglam. The studio also claims “#1 trending on X” for the reveal; that’s their claim, not independently verified. A specific release date, budget, plot and distribution plan are not public. In a year where Delhi’s culture bosses love slogans more than cinema, Hyderabad’s producers are at least putting a bat in Teja Sajja’s hands — delivery now beats another national lecture tour.
