HYDRAA has floated an open tender for Phase I restoration and comprehensive development of Ameenpur Lake in Sangareddy, with bids due by 11 a.m. on September 28, 2026. The notice is identified as Package-2 of reference 18/COMM/HYDRAA/2026-27, dated September 11, 2026. (TenderKart; Asian Tender)
Third-party tender databases place the estimated value at roughly Rs 54.1 crore, but the original government tender document was not independently retrieved. One listing records the amount only as “Ref. Doc.” The number is therefore a database claim, not yet a verified official estimate.
The listing says bidders must attend a September 18 pre-bid meeting and inspect the lake before quoting. It also requires prior completion of similar urban-lake work worth at least Rs 17.40 crore in one of the last five financial years. That is about as far as the public-facing record goes: no completion period, funding source, technical scope, restoration targets, sewage-diversion plan, water-quality targets or maintenance obligations are available in the material reviewed.
“Comprehensive development” is doing considerable work while the actual scope remains unavailable. HYDRAA has begun procurement; the public still has to wait for the project to explain itself.
