Jayamma wraps; Ranabaali still has homework

Rashmika Mandanna has wrapped her portions as Jayamma in Ranabaali, according to an update from the film’s official account. A behind-the-scenes video shows Mandanna with director Rahul Sankrityan and co-star Vijay Deverakonda, who plays the titular character.
The makers have announced October 16, 2026, as the film’s worldwide theatrical release date. That is a release announcement, not a legally immovable object: Ranabaali had earlier been reported to be targeting September 11. The official wrap post also does not say that the entire film has finished shooting.
The Telugu production, backed by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series, marks Deverakonda and Mandanna’s third collaboration after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Ajay-Atul compose the music, with Nirav Shah as cinematographer. The makers have also said the song “Endhayya Saami” is coming soon. Jayamma has wrapped. The rest of the production calendar remains less talkative.
